UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center (HCPC), the largest provider of inpatient psychiatric care in Houston, partners with The University of Texas at Houston Medical School to bring world-class expertise and professional care to behavioral health services across the region.
We provide compassionate, patient-centered care to those seeking evidence-based inpatient psychiatric treatment, including child, adolescent and adult inpatients. We also offer outpatient ECT services in our newly constructed ECT Clinic, which opened in 2015.

HCPC is a teaching hospital in partnership with University of Texas at Houston Medical School, the nation’s sixth-largest medical school. Our staff of psychiatrists and psychologists are faculty members of University of Texas Medical School at Houston Department of Psychiatry, and all of our staff are employed by UTHealth.
